I would like to take a minute to recognize the Stanly County Animal Control personnel.
They are doing such a wonderful job trying to find homes for the unwanted animals in our community. It is a complete turnaround from how it used to be.
No longer is it an automatic death sentence for these poor creatures, who at some time belonged to a human who decided to abandon their responsibility and let someone else take care of the problem they created.

Also, as always, do your part and remember to spay and neuter your dogs and cats.
