Danny Max Holt

Danny Max Holt, 65, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018 at his home.
His funeral service will be 4 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2018 in the Stanly Funeral & Cremation Care Chapel of Albemarle with Rev. Adam Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. prior to the service.
Danny was born October 9, 1952 in Stanly County, N.C. and is the son of Vernie Marie Hatley Holt and the late Gearld Max Holt.
Mr. Holt was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church. He was a retired Truck Driver and he served in the U.S. Marines and U.S. Airforce.
Mr. Holt is survived by his wife, Rose Rios Holt of 46 years. Other survivors include son Max Holt (Christina) of Albemarle, N.C.; two daughters, Shelley Holt (Kevin Moore) of Charlotte, N.C. and Deborah Odom (Rick) of Albemarle, N.C.; two sisters, Jackie Vanhoy of Rockwell, N.C. and Donna Barringer of Gold Hill, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Daniel Holt, Ashley Holt, Brandon Moore, Brittney Little, Evan Odom, Lauryn Odom and Kayla Barrier and a great-grandchild, Vance Littles Jr.
Danny is preceded in death by a brother, Mike Holt.
