Mildred Louise Cook Huneycutt, 96, of Locust, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Mrs. Huneycutt was born March 12, 1922 in Cabarrus County to the late Manlos George Cook and Lola May Little Cook. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren G. Huneycutt; son, Dillon Huneycutt; two brothers and five sisters.
Mrs. Huneycutt is survived by one sister, Jane C. Joyner, and husband, Clinton, of Concord; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Locust Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Dr. Kinney Wallace.
The Huneycutt family would like to thank Glen Love and Kathy Lambert for the care and support given to Mildred over the years.
