Hazel Lee Hyatt

Hazel Lee Hyatt, 71, of Badin, NC left us to be with the Lord Sunday, June 10, 2018.
He was laid to rest, with full military honors provided by Army National Honor Guard, Cabarrus County Honor Guard and NC Patriot Guard, on Friday June 15, at 11 a.m. at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens in Concord, NC.
Hazel was born November 19, 1946 to the late Ellis Hyatt and Dorabell Hartsell Hyatt.
He leaves behind his wife of nearly 42 years, Betty Kent Hyatt, also of Badin. He was the father of two sons and a daughter, Timothy Hyatt, Shasta Hyatt Fielder and George Hyatt.
Hazel was a very proud grandfather of nine, Alex Hyatt, Natalie Hyatt, Kristina Hyatt, Alissa Hyatt, Sydney Fielder, Robert “Logan” Fielder, Falyn Fielder, Tadd Eudy and Amber Kincaid. Also, one great-grandson, Zane Tyler Kincaid. He is also survived by a brother, James “Buster” Hyatt and a sister, Patricia Ann Hyatt.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Julian “JuJu” Parker Kincaid.
He served in the United States Army and served in Vietnam throughout the war. He was very proud to have served.
