West Stanly High School will have its summer volleyball camp July 9-11 in the gym.
Beginner’s class is from 8:30-11 a.m., with advanced players trained from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Campers are to designate which session on the registration form.
The camp is for rising fourth-graders through high school.
Registration deadline is Monday.
Campers will experience instructions from various college players, past and present high school players. Everyone will have fun learning the sport of volleyball while meeting new friends. Each day will be packed with drills, games and team competitions.
Players will learn techniques according to the session registered for in passing, setting, hitting, serving, blocks and court positions.
A camp form must accompany registration fee when signing up to attend. Forms may be found online under the West Stanly Volleyball Team page or pick one up in the front office of West Stanly middle or high school.
Registration fee of $75 includes a camp T-shirt. After Monday, the registration fee is $85.
