Carolyn Geneva Thompson, 83, of New London, NC entered the presence of Our Lord and Savior on Friday, June 8, 2018 in her home.
A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held 7 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Martin officiating.
Carolyn was born on October 11, 1934 in Albemarle, NC and was the daughter of the late Troy Belvin Terry and Gertrude Ragsdale Terry. She was a graduate of Albemarle High School and was employed with Wiscassett Mills. Carolyn was a devoted caregiver, homemaker and an avid gardener.
She was preceded in death by her husband Royce Harold Thompson, sister Molly Terry and brother David Terry. Survivors include a son Mark Allen Thompson(Paula) of New London, a daughter Donna Lynn Thompson of Morganton, two brothers, Belvin Terry(Faye) of SC, Michael Terry(Cheryl) of RI, three grandchildren, four great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Loyal and Protective Companion Pudge.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Carolyn’s memory to North Point Church of New London, NC.
