Barbara Elaine Blalock Gill, 76, of Badin, NC passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at CHS-Northeast, Concord, NC.
Her graveside service will be 1 PM Friday June 15, 2018 at Stanly Gardens of Memory. There will be no formal visitation.
Barbara was born December 4, 1941 in Stanly County, NC and was the daughter of the late William Frank Blalock and Ruth Almond Blalock.
She formerly worked in a veterinary clinic.
She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and wife. Mrs. Gill had a green thumb and loved caring for her plants and also loved her dogs, leaving behind her red poodle, Ruby.
Barbara is survived by her husband Johnny Harold Gill of the home. Other survivors include three sons Johnny David Gill of Badin, NC, James Gill (Lydia) of Badin, NC and Paul Darrell Gill (Anne) of St. Louis; brother Bill Blalock of Badin, NC; two sisters Shirley Efird of Badin, NC and Suzie Morton of Lexington, NC and eight grandchildren.
