Vonda Lee Duty Dotson, 54, of Stanfield, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at her residence.
She was born August 23, 1963 in East Prairie, MO to the late Barney Duty and Charlene Clark Duty Worthington. Vonda worked as a Veterinarian Assistant and loved caring for animals. In her spare time, she loved visiting the beach. Vonda was a member of West Oakboro Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, Vonda was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Joe Amick.
Vonda is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Edward Dotson, whom she married August 3rd; son, J.T. Bailey (wife, Sharonda) of Charlotte; mother, Charlene Worthington (husband, John Jr.) of Stanfield; sister, Connie Little (husband, Tony) of Stanfield; sister, Rebecca Furr (husband, Ricky) of Concord; niece, Tabitha Floyd (husband, Lee) of New London; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and pets, Lando, Tazmo, Chance and many fish.
