Willie Ann Boatright, 79, of Locust, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at her home. She peacefully went home to be with Jesus with her family by her side.

Mrs. Boatright was born October 26, 1938 in North Carolina to the late John Fletcher Brafford and the late Elsie Elizabeth Brafford.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother that was never too busy to be with her children and grand-children.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boatright was preceded in death by her sisters, Ramelle Efird, Pearl Mills, Ila Clontz, Lucille Mills, Betty Jo Mullis, and Shelby Adams; and brothers, Jay, Floyd and Gerald Brafford.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, James Neil Boatright; sons, Buren Lee Furr Jr. (Lisa), and Jimmy Boatright; daughters, Darlene Burleson (Dale), Angie Thomas (Mark), and Denise Helms (David); grandchildren, Amber (Bryan), Trisha, Clint (Lynn), Kevin, Jessica (Anthony), Andrew, and Daniel. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1pm -2:45pm, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Berea Baptist Church. The funeral service will immediately follow at 3pm also at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
