Tuesday, December 11, 2012 — Stanly County Emergency Services Director Brian Simpson confirmed that there was a boating accident on Badin Lake near the Palmerville Beach area.
Someone was injuried in the accident, according to Simpson.
"That’s about all I’m able to get," Simpson said.
NC Wildlife is investigating the accident.
