Friday, February 10, 2012 — The Ansonville man accused of killing a 9-year-old boy on Oct. 5, 2008, was sentenced recently to a maximum of 10 years in prison after agreeing to accept a plea deal.
Olandus Henry Blakeney was charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Jamoire Hall of Wadesboro.
This week, Blakeney accepted a plea deal in which the murder charge was reduced to second degree murder. He was sentenced to 94 to 122 months in jail, but he received credit for the 253 days he had already served.
