On Feb. 2, the sheriff’s office was dispatched to a reported robbery with a dangerous weapon at the Fast Stop Convenience Store on NC 73 west of Albemarle.
The incident involved an individual wearing a bandana and displaying a knife entering the store and threatening and demanding money from store employee Patricia Biggers, according to a sheriff’s report. The individual fled the business with the cash contents of the register.
