Saturday, January 26, 2013 — The event featuring author Laura Florand (‘The Chocolate Thief and The Chocolate Kiss”) scheduled for 3 p.m. today will go on, according to a representative from the Stanly County Public Library. The event happens at Falling Rivers Gallery, 119 W. Main St., Albemarle. Admission is free. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and she will sign copies after her talk.
