Hartsell-Thomas

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stanly Hartsell are making their home at 13531 Cabarrus Station Road, Midland, following their recent marriage in Mission Baptist Church of Locust.

Mrs. Hartsell is the former Sandra Nicole Thomas, daughter of Steve and Debbie Thomas of Norwood.

The bridegroom is the son of Ruth Hartsell of Midland and the late Joe Ellis Hartsell and Vickie Hartsell of Midland.

Dr. Ronny Russell conducted the marriage service Oct. 1, 2005. Martha Sue Hall, pianist, and Amy Barbee and Larry Burris vocalists, presented the wedding music.

Escorted by her father, the bride was attired in a satin A-line gown fashioned with split back and a chapel train. Beaded metallic embroidery detailed the strapless bodice and the chapel train. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

Tiffany Tyson was maid of honor and Ashlie Bowers Thomas was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Casey Helms, Tanya Caudle Schadt, Angie Cole and Heather Church.

Mara Jules Hartsell, daughter of the groom, was flower girl.

Don Morris was best man and Chris Thomas, brother of the bride, Robert Causey, Martin Rushing, Chad Allred and Chad Kluttz were groomsmen.

Attendants were Elizabeth Ussery and Leah Brown.

Following the ceremony there was a reception with dancing and dining at Oakboro Music Hall.

  • O'Neil-Eller O'Neil-Eller Wedding Jennifer Denise Eller of Albemarle and Edward Charles O’Neil III of Concord, were united in marriage Dec. 29, 2007, at First Assembly of God. The Rev. Bob Gruver officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.
