The varsity girls’ basketball team representing Carolina Christian School in Locust hosted the Charlotte Area Christian Athletic Association 2013 postseason tournament and continued their dominance of the CACAA with their fourth-straight conference championship.

The Carolina Christian Lady Lions stormed past the Charlotte United Lady Warriors 88-22 in the championship finals of the CACAA on Friday night.
Carolina Christian posted their best performance of the year on both ends of the court. The outcome of this championship match was determined early on as the Lady Lions held Charlotte United scoreless in the first quarter and then got their offense rolling in the second half for a 44-5 halftime lead.
Both Carolina Christian teams will travel to Dayton, Tenn. on March 6-9 to compete in the National Association of Christian Athletes national championship tournament. The Lady Lions will look to defend the title that they won there last year.

The Lady Lions defeated the First Assembly Monroe Wildcats 69-18 on Thursday night, to advance to their fourth consecutive CACAA championship game.
