I challenge you, my gentle readers, to get out to one of the games Friday night, even if the drive is long because our teams need our support.
Albemarle’s home game with Union Academy should be a competitive game, while South needs every able bodied fan to go to East Columbus.
If both win, we get to see one more county game this year. And, if you go to the South game, you are only an hour from Oak Island and the beach. Sweet.

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 11, 2013) -- Monday evening's game between the Kannapolis Intimidators and Augusta GreenJackets has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. The teams will make up the game on Tuesday, June 11, as part of a doubleheader comprising two 7-inning games starting at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
