Albemarle tops Gray Stone; West, South Stanly post wins

Sunday, March 17, 2013 — In high school tennis matches Thursday, Albemarle stayed perfect on the season and handed Gray Stone their first loss of the season. West Stanly won at North Stanly, while South Stanly earned a home win over North Rowan.

The Bulldogs improved to 7-0 this season and 4-0 in the YVC with the win, while Gray Stone falls to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.

    KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 11, 2013) -- Monday evening's game between the Kannapolis Intimidators and Augusta GreenJackets has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions at CMC-NorthEast Stadium.  The teams will make up the game on Tuesday, June 11, as part of a doubleheader comprising two 7-inning games starting at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m.
