The Rebel Bulls used a big first quarter to earn a conference win over the Knights.
Scotesia Dunlap led South Stanly with 10 points with several players scoring eight as well.
Dejah Broussard led Gray Stone with 10 points.

The Bulls’ boys basketball team needed a big second half to earn a seven-point win at home Tuesday night.
“Gray Stone had an excellent game plan. They slowed the game down in the first half and limited our possessions, but our offense started clicking in the fourth quarter,” South head coach Sean Whitley said.

Falcons open season with 3-0 loss to Ball State
Fighting off late rallies by Pfeiffer University in sets two and three, visiting Ball State University was able to escape with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-23) sweep of the Falcons in the NCAA I Men’s Volleyball action on Saturday afternoon in Merner Gym.
