Representatives from AMVETS Rockwell Post 845, Albemarle Post 910, and the Pfeiffer University North Carolina AMVETS Career Center paid tribute to the parade of patriots that passed their display with handshakes and tokens of appreciation.

Parker graduates from basic training
PFC Marcus Cody Parker has successfully completed his basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. After graduating on March 29 in the top 20 percent of the 2nd-13th Infantry Battalion, he was promoted to PFC-E3.

Local U.S. Army recruiting commanders visit the state’s first AMVETS Career Center
Captain Timothy Page, U.S. Army Recruiting Company Commander, Charlotte, and Sergeant First Class Scott Dickinson, U.S. Army Recruiting Station Commander, Kannapolis, paid a personal visit to Pfeiffer University’s Misenheimer campus to tour North Carolina’s first AMVETS Veterans Career Center.
