PFC Marcus Cody Parker has successfully completed his basic training at Fort Jackson, S.C. After graduating on March 29 in the top 20 percent of the 2nd-13th Infantry Battalion, he was promoted to PFC-E3. He is now stationed at Fort Sill, Okla. in advanced training to become a field artillery specialist.
His parents are Robin Parker and Hope Miles. Grandparents are Jackie and Janice Miles, Merle and Vinnia Parker and Connie and Tony Morton.
