Thursday, January 3, 2013 — Pamela Tucker Hatcher, 54, of Cabarrus County, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012, at Tucker Hospice of Kannapolis.
Mrs. Hatcher was born April 8, 1958, in Cabarrus County to Louis James Tucker and to the late Doris Geraldine Barrier Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at Carolina Presbyterian Church. Rev. Mike Cannon will officiate. Burial will follow at Carolina Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Anthony Hatcher; one son, Mark Anthony Hatcher II, both of the home, in Cabarrus County; and one brother, Louis James Tucker Jr.
Mrs. Hatcher was employed by CMC NorthEast for 18 years. She also had a passion for various church activities. She was an Awana’s leader, children’s church leader, GA leader, Sunday School and youth helper, member of National Day of Prayer committee and long time supporter of Pregnancy Resource Center of Stanly County.
