Billy Ross Kiser, 87, of Mount Gilead, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Stanly Manor.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Sunday, October 28, 2012, from 3-5 p.m.
At other times, the family will meet at his home.
Mr. Kiser was born on May 14, 1925, in Kannapolis, to the late Walter Theodore Kiser Sr. and the late Ellie Ruth Russell Kiser.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Ann Kiser: one son and one daughter.
A graduate of NC State University, he received his Masters Degree from Duke University. Mr. Kiser served in the US Marine Corps during WWII and worked for the North Carolina Forest Service as a Regional Forester and an airplane pilot.
