Thursday, October 11, 2012 — Linda Mae Hinson Laxton Sundin, 55, of Stanly County, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Friday, October 12, 2012, from 4-5 p.m.
The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Wayne Austin, will be at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, on Friday, October 12, 2012, at 5 p.m. Burial will follow at Plyler Baptist Church Cemetery.
At other times, the family will meet at her home.
Mrs. Sundin was born on September 22, 1957, in Stanly County. She is preceded in death by her first husband, David Laxton; and sister, Rita Minseng.
Mrs. Sundin is survived by her husband of eight years, William Alvin Sundin of Locust; her parents, Reece Jennings Hinson and Hazel Narveline Watson Hinson of New London; brother, Dale Hinson of New London; former mother-in-law, Margaret Laxton; and a special neighbor, Rita Christy, who introduced Linda to William.
Mrs. Sundin worked at Michelin Aircraft tires in Norwood for 23 years as a lab technician. Her hobbies were going to the beach and to the mountains and her dogs, Fi Fi, Roscoe, Coco and Sheba.
