Ray Isenhour, age 90, of Gold Hill, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013, at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center.
The family received friends at Matton’s Grove United Methodist Church on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, from 12-2 p.m. in the fellowship hall. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Kathy Bryant and Rev. Tony Bowman, followed at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
At other times, the family will meet at his home.
Mr. Isenhour was born on May 6, 1922, to the late George Isenhour and the late Laura Isenhour.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mildred Isenhour of the home; a son, Charles Alvin Isenhour of Kernersville; three daughters, Betty Thomas of Kannapolis, Linda Woods of Salisbury and Louise Luther of China Grove; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.
