Wednesday, March 6, 2013 —
Charles “Chuck” Whitley Harrison Sr., age 59, of Albemarle, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013, at CMC-NorthEast.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, from 7-9 p.m.
The memorial service, officiated by Rev. Clinton Efird and Rev. Don Burleyson, will be at Lighthouse Baptist Church on Friday, March 8, 2013, at 11 a.m.
At other times, the family will meet at the home of daughter, Michelle, 36689-A Poplin Road, New London.
Mr. Harrison was born on December 6, 1953, to the late Joseph Harrison and the late Cora Duke Harrison. He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Marvin Harrison, Steve Harrison and an infant brother; two grandchildren, Hayley Sides and Zander Harrison.
Charles is survived by three daughters, Michelle Poplin and husband Buddy, Tabitha Ritchie and husband Walter and Stacy Burleson and husband Donnie; a son, Charlie Harrison and wife Mindy; seven sisters, Barbara Burleson, Diane Burleson, Rosa King, Becky Bailey, Teresa Pruitt, Kathy Stubbs and Trisha Cofer; three brothers, Rayvon Harrison, Kenny Harrison and Jessie Harrison; and 11 loving grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St., Albemarle, NC 28001.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Harrison family.
