Thursday, February 21, 2013 — Lillie Delores Peralta Efird, age 51, of Albemarle, died at 12:37 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in First Health Hospice House, Pinehurst, N.C.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013, in Stanly Funeral Home Chapel, Albemarle. Pastor Bob Gruver will officiate and burial will be in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Stanly Funeral Home on Friday, February 22, 2013, from 6-8 p.m.
Born June 18, 1961, in Mecklenburg County, N.C., she was the daughter of Hugh “Hugo” Peralta of Muscle Shoals, Ala. and the late Dolly Carolyn Tucker and stepfather Jack Tucker.
She was a graduate of West Stanly High School and attended First Assembly of God, Albemarle. She had unconditional love for her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Efird was married to the late Jimmy Laverne Efird who preceded her in death on September 17, 2007. Two brothers, Hugo and Bobby Peralta also preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Carmen Efird of Carthage and Jessica Efird and Sheena Efird, both of Albemarle; three half brothers, Davie Tucker of Oakboro, John Peralta of Orlando, Fla. and Felix Peralta of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; six half sisters, Sunday Tucker of Albemarle, Lusia Oswalt of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; Leigh Tucker of Charlotte, Christina Peralta, Anna Peralta and Martha Peralta, all of Spain; and four grandchildren, Layton Hathcock, Riley Burleson, Addison Burleson and Kaiden Dahle.
