Thursday, January 17, 2013 — Hubert J. Poplin, 82, of New London, died Jan. 16, 2013. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Jan. 18, 2013, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle.

At other times the family will meet at his home.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Jan. 19, 2013, Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial: Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery, Albemarle.

Memorials may be made to New Hope Mission Baptist Church, 150 S. Morrow Road, Albemarle, NC 28001, c/o Betty Furr.
