VIRGINIA BEACH — Jerry Wayne Eddins, 71, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He served his country in the US Navy and was a member of Gateway Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gail S. Eddins; son, Jerold C. Eddins; grandson, C.J. Eddins and sisters, Ann Shankle, Elizabeth Shelton and Beth Johnson.
A service to celebrate his life will be held January 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Gateway Free Will Baptist Church in Virginia Beach with Pastors Brent Patrick and Dale Burden officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6-7:30 p.m.
