Remell Eudy Martin, 79, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at her home.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m. At other times the family will meet at the home of her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Eudy.
The funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. Rev. Stony Benfield and Rev. Tom Schnitzlein will officiate and the burial will follow at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born November 24, 1933 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Millard Levi Eudy and the late Gathie Marina Almond Eudy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 5 brothers; Ernest Lee “Satch” Eudy, James D. Eudy, John Ervin Eudy, Cletus Eudy and Charlie Eudy; and one sister, Carrie McIlwaine
She is survived by her two sons, Kenny Martin and wife Rhondi, Tim Martin and wife Melissa, all of Albemarle; grandchildren, Mindy Harrison, Nicholas Martin, Josh Bowman, Shannon Bowman, Cameron Love and Mary Beth Williams; 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph Eudy and Floyd Eudy, both of Albemarle; two sisters, Doris Eudy of Albemarle and Oaksie Cole of Greensboro.
She was a hair stylist.
