Monday, January 7, 2013 — James Ray Murray, 79, of Oakboro, died Jan. 6, 2013. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Jan. 8, 2013, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. Funeral: 11 a.m. Jan. 9, 2013, Red Cross Baptist Church, Oakboro. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial: Stanly Gardens of Memory.

At other times, the family will meet at his home.

Memorials may be made to Red Cross Baptist Church Building Fund, 112 W. Red Cross Road, Oakboro, NC 28129.
