Sunday, December 30, 2012 — Bobby Bruce Morris, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at his home in Locust.
Mr. Morris was born March 16, 1931, in Stanly County to the late Milton Alvin Morris and Evie Jermone Sides Morris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Tucker Morris.
He was a retired plumber with Southern Comfort of Charlotte.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 4, 2013, at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Locust.
At other times, the family will meet at his home.
Survivors include his daughter, Belinda Morton and her husband Randy of Albemarle; his son, Ronnie Dale Morris of Concord; his brother, Billy Joel Morris of Albemarle; his sister, Hazel Elizabeth Kluttz of Mint Hill; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his special companion, Barbara Goins and her son, Terry Stirewalt.
