Clara Marie Williams, age 73, of Albemarle, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Sam Wilson and Rev. Andrew Ball, will be at Faith Freewill Baptist Church of Albemarle on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
At other times, the family will meet at her son’s home.
Clara was born on August 29, 1939, to the late Aster Owens and the late Pearl Owens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by seven brothers, Carson Louis Owens, Lonnie Owens, Thurman Owens, Melvin Owens, Robert Owens and Thomas Owens.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lynn Morton of Albemarle; a sister, Ruth Biggers; a special nephew, Bobby Owens; and a special sister, Glennie Brady; two grandchildren, Tyler Ryan Mussel White and Nicholas Morton; and one great-grandson.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Williams family.
