Gloria Jean Kimble Anderson, 67, of Statesville, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Mrs. Anderson was born October 16, 1945 in Cabarrus County to the late John Thomas Kimble and Helen Brite Broome Kimble. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Kimble, Jr.
The family received friends from 12-2 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral was at 2 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Concord. Burial will follow in the Kannapolis City Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Allen Anderson; her brother, Donnie Kimble of New London; her sister, Della Starnes of New London; her nieces, Wendy Reynolds of Faith and Lori McClellan of Concord; and her nephews, Derek Starnes of New London, Rusty Kimble of Albemarle, and Scottie Kimble of Concord.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
