MARIETTA, S.C. — Christopher Columbus Foreman, 74, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at his home.
Born in Stanly County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Guilford Cleveland and Emma Pritchard Foreman. Mr. Foreman served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Masonic Lodge 348, Albemarle. He was also retired from Roadway Express, Inc. and was a member of Marietta First Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Priscilla Arrowood Foreman; two sons, Kelly Chris Foreman of Pickens, S.C. and Wesley Dean Foreman and wife Gaynette of Amarillo, Texas; two brothers, Frank Douglas (Elaine) of Norwood, and William Gary (Tammy) Foreman of Albemarle; five grandchildren, Brandon, Chelsea, Casey, McKenzie and Clay Foreman and a great-granddaughter, Miyra Grace Foreman.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Marietta First Baptist Church with visitation prior from 5-7 p.m.
Burial will be at Silver Springs Cemetery in Stanly County, on Monday at 3 p.m.
The family will be at the home.
