Martha Ann Poplin, 78, of Stanly County, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Forrest Oakes.
Mrs. Poplin was born September 19, 1934, in Union County to the late Daniel Mae Coble and Mildred Frances Stewart. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Blanton Poplin.
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2013, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland. Burial will be at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 20063 Meadow Creek Church Road, Locust.
Survivors include her four daughters, Shirley Wittman of Richfield, Carolyn Helms, Kathy Almond and Doris Love, all of Stanfield; and sister-in-law, Fannie Haigler of Locust; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Poplin family.
