Thursday, December 6, 2012 — Pearl Jane Chandler Wallace, 98, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at Bethany Woods and Rehabilitation Center.
The family received friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service, officiated by Rev. David Nolan, was at Bethel United Methodist Church, New London, on Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 4 p.m. with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
Pearl was born on August 24, 1914, to the late Frank Chandler and the late Callie Chandler.
She is survived by one brother, John Chandler of Albemarle; and a sister, Bertha Austin of Albemarle.
