Mrs. Vergie J. Faulkner, 90, died Sunday evening, January 13, 2013, at her home.
Born July 9, 1922, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late James Bunyon and Ester Britt Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W. Austin Faulkner.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Peachland Baptist Church with burial to follow in Norview Cemetery in Norwood. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Wednesday in the church fellowship building.
Mrs. Faulkner is survived by a son, Wesley A. Faulkner Jr. of Norwood; sister, Ruth Jones Morton of Troy, N.C.; and grandchildren, Emma Suzanne Faulkner and Evan Britt Faulkner.
