Thursday, January 3, 2013 — Donald Wayne “Donnie” Harward, 58, of Albemarle, passed away, December 29, 2012, at his home.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home on Thursday, January 3, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. At other times the family will meet at his home.
The funeral service will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Friday, January 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. Rev. George Bradshaw and Rev. Ron Loflin will officiate. The burial will follow at Stanly Gardens of Memory.
Born May 23, 1954, in Stanly County, N.C., he was the son of the late Conard Edgar Harward and the late Odessa Marie Harwood Harward.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Emily Renae Smith Harward; daughter, Kateland Harward and fiance´ Ryan Foerman of Albemarle; brothers, Jerry Harward and wife Linda of Albemarle and Steve Harward and wife Joyce of Ohio; sister, Judy Fraley and husband Jerry of New London; and brother-in-law Joe Smith and wife Barbara of Granite Quarry.
Donnie was a truck driver for Hawk Transportation.
