Tuesday, September 26, 2006 — MIchael Lynn Misenheimer Jr., 22, of 49829 Glenmore Road, Gold Hill, died at 12:34 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, in Carolinas Medical Center Main.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, were he was a member. The Rev. Fred Mitschke and The Rev. Bob Gruver will officiate and burial will be in Richfield Cemetery.
Born June 5, 1984, in Rowan County, he was a son of Michael Lynn Misenheimer and Teresa Hill Misenheimer, both of Gold Hill, who survive. He was a 2002 graduate of North Stanly High School where he was a member of the varsity soccer team for four years, a member of FFA, and an honor roll student. He loved hunting. He attended First Assembly Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee, Elizabeth Barfield of Richfield; a sister, Michelle Misenheimer of Gold Hill; his maternal grandparents, Oliver and Betty Jane Hill of Gold Hill; his paternal grandmother, Ruby Brock of Concord, and his great-grandmother, Margaret Eudy of Rockwell.
