Lula Gallagher passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on March 12, 2013.
Lula was born in Albemarle, N.C., in 1931, daughter of deceased parents, Eula McDowell and Ronnie Morris.
She has four surviving children, Mike Baker, Statesville, N.C.; Karla Green, Greg Baker and Teresa Baker of Melbourne; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Earnhardt of Albemarle; and two brothers, Roger Morris of Albemarle and Jimmy Morris of Hampton, Va.
Lula graduated from Albemarle High School as a member of the National Honor Society and from the Beauty College in High Point, N.C.
Lula was the owner of Harbor City Hair Designs for 30 years in Melbourne, Fla. Lula belonged to the Elks Club, American Legion, Red Hat Club and the Guardian-Ad-Litem. She loved working with children. Lula loved life to its fullest and had traveled the world.
Memorial Service will be on March 22 at 2 p.m. at the Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, Fla.
Memorial contributions can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
