Monday, February 11, 2013 —
Heath Bronson Morgan Sr., 86, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at his home in Stanfield.
Mr. Morgan was born October 31, 1926, in Stanly County to the late Floyd Ellison Morgan and the late Mattie Pearle Helms Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Virginia Love Morgan in July 2005.
The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service was at 4 p.m. following visitation in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Midland officiated by Rev. Mark Harrell. Burial will be at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at 11 a.m.
At other times, the family will meet at his home.
Survivors include his son, Heath Bronson Morgan Jr. and his wife Brenda of Stanfield; his brothers, Tommy Morgan of Stanfield and Gilbert Morgan of Midland; his sisters, Pat Furr of Oakboro and Janie Johnson of Southport; his grandchildren, Christie Wells of Jacksonville, Fla. and Nicholas Morgan of Upper Marlboro, Md.; and four great-grandchildren.
