Monday, January 28, 2013 — Joe DeWitt Kelly Jr., 52, of New London, died Jan. 25, 2013. Service: 2 p.m. Jan. 29, 2013, Poplin Grove Baptist Church.  Burial: Church cemetery.  Visitation: Following the service in the church fellowship hall.  

The family requests memorials be made to Poplin Grove Baptist Church, 220 Poplin Grove Baptist Church Road, Albemarle, NC 28001 or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer in memory of his sister, Camilla Quinn, Charlotte Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, PO Box 601597, Charlotte, NC 28260.
