Rev. Donald Bain Hathcock, Jr., 59, of Albemarle, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2013, at his home.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Monday, January 14, 2013 from 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gary Posey and Rev. Paul Pickler, will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
At other times, the family will meet at his home.
Donald was born on February 9, 1953, to the late Donald Bain Hathcock, Sr. and Pauline Burleson Ingram of Albemarle. He is preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Hathcock in 2012; and a daughter, Donna Lynn Hathcock in 2009 and a sister, Jane Thomas.
In addition to his mother, Pauline Ingram, he is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Hathcock of the home; two sisters, Tommie Efird of Norwood, Sue Pickler of Albemarle; one half sister, Trina Ingold of New London; half brother, Todd Hathcock of Ridgecrest and eight loving grandchildren.
