Ruby Catherine Moyle Eudy, age 83, of Albemarle, passed away on March 16, 2013, at Bethany Woods.
The family received friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 6-8 p.m.
The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Robert Cauble, will be at Friendship Methodist Church, on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Herrins Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
At other times, the family will meet at her home.
Ruby was born on April 1, 1929, in Stanly County, to the late Luther Moyle and the late Stella Moyle. She is also preceded in death by twin boys, Jimmie and Johnnie.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, J.C. Eudy of Albemarle; a son, Larry Eudy of the home; a sister, Hilda Bean of Concord; and a brother, Foy Moyle of Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. Eudy worked at Wiscasset Mills in Albemarle for over 25 years and other jobs in the textile industry. After retirement, she helped other seniors with housekeeping.
Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Eudy family.
