Connie Diane Mills Jordan, 61 years of age, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at her home in Richfield.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Stanly County on June 13, 1950 to the late James Thomas Mills and Laura Cecil Watts Mills. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church in China Grove. Connie had her own catering business.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, with a 30 minute state, at New Haven Baptist Church. Pastor F. Delmar Johnson and Pastor Ron Faith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Richfield Cemetery.
At other times, the family will meet at her home.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Reggie Wayne Jordan of the home; her son, Matt Jordan and his wife Nichole of Concord; her two daughters, Regina Jordan of Hagerstown, Md., and Laurie Summers and her husband Brad of Locust; her brother, Dennis Mills of Lexington, N.C.; and grandchildren, Jordan and Mattie Summers, Connor Jordan, Paige Bamonto, and Matthew and Ryan Gary.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N. First St., Albemarle, NC 28001.
