• Vernon Dewayne Sasser, Atkins Avenue, Norwood, was issued an order for arrest for assault with deadly weapon, assault on female, and habitual assault, Aug. 25.
• Jessie Clifton Owens, Rocky River Road, Oakboro, was issued a warrant for larceny of motor vehicle, felony larceny and fraud, Aug. 25.
• Stanly Salvage, N.C. 24/27, Albemarle, reported a larceny-misd., Aug. 26.
• Department of Transportation, Coble Avenue, Albemarle, reported damage to property, Aug. 23.
• Michael Patrick Sullivan, Prospect Church Road, Albemarle, was arrested for misd. larceny, Aug. 26.
• William Bradley Melton, Eagle Head Court, New London, was arrested for misd. larceny, Aug. 26.
• Bud Barry Hulin, Gravel Hill Road, Denton, was issued a warrant for assault with deadly weapon, Aug. 26.
• Eltus Andrews Story, Oakwood Road, Albe-marle, reported financial identity fraud, Aug. 29.

57 nursing homes win enhancement grants
