Stanly County Habitat for Humanity welcomes Jill H. Hatley as the new public relations and fund development coordinator.
She is a native of Stanly County and grew up in the Richfield community with her parents, Roger and Jane Huneycutt.
Hatley graduated from North Stanly High School and Stanly Community College and has an associate degree in business and administration. She resides in the Aquadale community with her husband, Mike, of 13 years, and two daughters, Peyton and Kolby. She is a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in the Frog Pond community.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to work with an organization such as Habitat for Humanity because it allows me to make a difference in the community by giving back,” Hatley said.
Habitat for Humanity serves the community by providing homes to qualified families with a no interest mortgage. Habitat is a vessel to bring the community together for one common goal of eliminating poverty housing.
“We are a ‘hand up not a hand out,’ ” Habitat Executive Director Cemita Gibbs said.
“Jill will be a great asset to Stanly County Habitat and I am looking forward to what we can accomplish together in the coming years.”
Stanly County Habitat for Humanity has been serving the community since 1988 by helping to eliminate poverty housing.
