An Oakboro woman is in custody in the Stanly County Jail on drug charges.
Jamie Denise Burnette, 36, of 15791 Silver Road in Oakboro was arrested Wednesday following a search of her car.
Investigators from the sheriff’s office were joined by agents from the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and officers of the Albemarle Police Department to serve a probation violation warrant on Burnette.
After her arrest, the officers conducted a consent search of her vehicle where they found methamphetamine.
A search warrant for the residence was then obtained and the officers seized methamphetamine making materials found around the residence.
Burnette has a $75,000 secured bond for the drug charges and a $10,000 secured bond on her violation probation.
Burnette is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 3.
