Oakboro Police are looking for information regarding a recent breaking and entering at the Oakboro Swim Club.
According to Oakboro Police Chief Joe Lowder, a report was made on March 17 of the breaking and entering with damage to property at the Oakboro Swim Club on Pecan Drive in Oakboro, though a date of the incident is unknown.
Lowder explained that sometime prior to March 17, a suspect entered the premises and vandalized it, throwing a picnic table, beer bottles and other items into the pool. The concrete steps were also broken and the fencing was damaged.
Lowder is requesting that anyone with information about the incident contact Oakboro Police Department at (704) 485-4214.

June 21 – Richfield Misenheimer Fire Dept., 2:30-6:30 p.m.

Blood can be safely donated every 56 days. Most healthy people age 17 and older, or 16 with parental consent, who weigh at least 110 pounds, are eligible to donate blood and platelets.
