Sunday, November 2, 2008 — Albemarle Police Department made an arrest Wednesday in several breaking and enterings or attempted breaking and enterings that have occurred over the last three weeks.
Arrested was Jasper Craig Little, 27, of 315 Leonard Ave., Albemarle.
He was charged with the following:
• Breaking and entering at Allstate Insurance on E. Main St. (Two charges. He went into this business on two different dates, officials say.);
• Breaking and entering at Strike Zone Bowling Alley on E Main St. (Four charges. He went into this business on four different dates, officials say.);
• Safe Cracking. He broke into the safe at Strike Zone Bowling Alley.
• Attempted breaking and entering and safe cracking. He tried to go into the Wachovia ATM on NC 24-27.
• Attempted breaking and entering and safe cracking. He tried to go into the State Employees’ Credit Union ATM on E. Main St.
This comes to a total of five counts of larceny after breaking and entering, four at Strike Zone Bowling Alley and one at Allstate Insurance.
